But deliver us from the evil one.

And protect us from all evil


[I/we thank you that ] “The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect [us/me] from the evil one.”
~ (2 Thessalonians 3:3)


[Lord] “You are [my/our] hiding place; You shall preserve [me/us] from trouble; You shall surround [me/us]
with songs of deliverance” ~ (Psalm 32:7)


Lord “keep me [/us] from evil, that I [/we] may not cause pain!”  ~ (1 Chronicles 4:10)

[You O’ Lord have warned us to] “Be sober, be vigilant; because our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. [and that I/we should] Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that
the same sufferings are experienced by our brotherhood in the world.” ~ (1 Peter 5:8,9)


“The Lord is my [/our] rock and my [/our] fortress and my [/our] deliverer; The God of my [/our] strength, in whom I [/we] will trust; My shield and the horn of my [/our] salvation, My [/our] stronghold and my refuge” ~ (2 Samuel 22:2,3)


“The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.”  ~ (Psalms 121:7) 


[Lord, you have taught me/us how to overcome the evil one, To] “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. [To] Put on the whole armor of God, that [I/we] may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For
[I/we] do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that [I/we] may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand there-fore, having girded our waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our
feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which, we will be able
to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  And [to] take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful” to this end
with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” ~ (Ephesians 6:10-18)
