Meaning: The Hebrew is not speaking about a future end-times kingdom but a
present-day kingdom, one in the here-and-now. The Hebrew is saying: O, Father, may your present-day kingdom be blessed! However, God is king in the here-and-now and God will be king in the end-times. The words “may your kingdom be blessed” are an invitation to bow our hearts and knees before him with our hands raised toward heaven, while blessing his present an eternal kingdom.
