Even if it is all you end up praying, pray the Lord’s Prayer each day...its His Word!...its “The Lord’s Prayer!” you can’t go wrong, it’s impossible for God’s WORD prayed back to Him to not be effective - “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).  “Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105).  Not in the mood to pray? It is the only prayer (model) that comes with a reward - “your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”  Reward here in the Greek is apodōsei which means to give up, give back, return and restore.  In Jewish Gematria “Reward” here equals: 591 and means to “Rest in the Lord.”  Praying the Lord’s Prayer back to Him, and resting in the Lord comes with the promise of the Lord responding, by giving back and restoring something to you...how awesome is that?!

The Amplified Lords Prayer, in three different formats, is organized and laid out to assist one to pray more effectively, using the outline given us by our Lord Jesus Christ, who said “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.  And
when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words
“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner,
therefore, pray...” (Matthew 6:6-8)

The Amplified Lord’s Prayer can be used individually (privately) or corporately (in a group). It can be very effective for
churches and/or small groups to use as their outline for a prayer gathering - a Prayer Leader reads each segment and
supporting verse(s), and at each Selah, pause and think about the verse(s) read, and then add only what the Spirit
within you guides you to pray (add your personal prayers and supplications), and then go on to the next section of the
Amplified Lord’s Prayer and repeat through the completion of the entire Amplified Lord’s Prayer.

The Lord’s Prayer is universal, non controversial and cuts across most denominational lines - it is a great tool to share
