Amplified Lord’s Prayer Model - a Simple Prayer of Salvation


As we forgive our debtors.


“Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be
condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” (Luke 6:37)


“Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, 
with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another,
even as God in Christ forgave you”  (Ephesians 4:31,32)


I pray you will change my heart and help me to love and forgive others as you have
loved and forgiven me.


And do not lead us into temptation,

“But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
         patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were
         also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses”
         (I Timothy 6:11,12)


 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points
         tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may
         obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:15,16)


Help me to resist the temptations of my old self and life – thank you for your mercy and grace.
