Amplified Lord’s Prayer Model - a Simple Prayer of Salvation


Give us this day our daily bread.

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength,
         in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
         (Psalm 18:2)


“Preserve me O God, for in You I put my trust.”  (Psalm 16:1)


Lord I am putting my trust in you.


And forgive us our debts,


“Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant
of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, Because He delights in mercy. He will
again have compassion on us and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the
depths of the sea.”  (Micah 7:18,19)



“He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom
of his beloved Son.”  (Colossians 1:13)


I ask now for your Forgiveness for all my sin, I repent and turn toward you for mercy.  I claim your
promise of salvation, through the grace and shed blood of Jesus Christ alone.
